VCE Business Management and VCE Health & Human Development Competition 2024

You must agree to the following terms and conditions to be eligible for the awards for this competition:

  • The competition is open to any students or association members enrolled in a location agreed by Quitch and the Partner Organisation(s). 

  • Participants must:

    • be over the age of 16,

    • be enrolled as a student for VCE.

    • register for the Quitch 'VCE Business Management Competition' or ‘VCE Health and Human Development Competition’ class with their institution email address.

  • Quitch reserves the right to verify the validity of the entrants and disqualify anyone who is not eligible. 

  • The Quitch app is the platform for the competition. The promoters are the Partner Organisation(s).

  • By entering the competition the user agrees to have their contact details shared with the Partner Organisation(s) for marketing purposes.

  • The competition commences at 9:00 AM (AEDT) on Monday, 17 June 2024, and finishes at 5:00 PM (AEST) on 22 November 2024.

  • Weekly prizes provided by Access Education:

    • This is a game of chance, the winner will be chosen by a draw.

    • The winner must have attempted questions.

    • Three winners will be drawn each week of term three (15th July - 20th September).

    • Weekly winners will be drawn starting from Wednesday 17th July 2024 at 5:00 PM (AEDT). Winners will be published on social media on the following Thursday.

    • Only one prize will be awarded per person.

    • Each week two winners will be awarded free entry to one of Access Education's Exam Revision lectures with notes (valued at $46).

    • Each week one winner will be awarded an English pack including: Up to three Essential English lectures and notes. The weekly winner for this prize will alternate weekly between the VCE Business Management Competition and VCE Health & Human Development Competition. 

    • Weekly prizes will be mailed to the winners, so a postal address must be provided to Access Education.

Global Accounting Competition 2024

    • This is a game of skill, applying your knowledge by answering quizzes. Quizzes are posted weekly, where consistently answering these correctly, often and quickly will place you higher on the leaderboard.

    • When there is a draw in points, we use the total time taken submitting answers. The winners of the competition shall practise the questions multiple times and therefore position higher on the leaderboard.

    • Prizes are awarded based on leaderboard position, there is no split prize due to tie in points.

    • Final winners will have one week to accept the prize before it will be awarded to the next highest-ranked participant on the leaderboard.

    • Final winners will be published on social media on Monday 22 April 2024.

    • Winners for Top placement on the leader board will receive cash prizes via direct deposit into their bank account. Winners will need to supply bank details in order to receive the funds upon request from a Quitch team member.

  • 8 x weekly $100 prizes ($600):

    • This is a game of chance, the winner will be chosen by a draw.

    • The winner must have attempted questions.

    • Winners will be drawn each Wednesday for 4 weeks (starting from Wednesday 20 March 2024 at 5:00 PM (AEDT)). Winners will be published on social media on the following Thursday.

    • Only one prize will be awarded per person.

    • Weekly prizes will be in the form of $100 Amazon Vouchers.

  • $500 department prize:

    • Awarded to the top student’s university department.

    • The Department award will receive a cash prize via direct deposit into their bank account.

National Accounting Competition Ireland 2024

this competition:

  • The competition is open accounting students enrolled in a University/Technological University or Institute of Technology (IT) in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

 

Participants must:

  • be over the age of 18,

  • be enrolled as an accounting or business student in a University or IT in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland and,

  • register to the Quitch ‘National Accounting Competition Ireland’ class with their Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland college email address.

  • The competition commences at 9:00 AM (GMT) on Monday 29 January 2024 and finishes at 10:00 PM (GMT) on Sunday 10 March 2024.

  • €3000 total cash prize pool.

  • First prize €1,000, second prize €600, third prize €300 for placement on the leader board.

    • This is a game of skill, applying your knowledge by answering quizzes. Quizzes are posted weekly, where

    • register to the Quitch ‘National Ireland Accounting Competition’ class with their Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland University/IT email address.

  • Quitch reserves the right to verify the validity of the entrants and disqualify anyone who is not eligible. 

  • Quitch app is the platform for the competition. The promoter is CPA Ireland (The Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland)

  • The competition commences at 9:00 AM (GMT) on Monday 14 February 2022 and finishes at 10:00 PM (GMT) on Sunday 24 April 2022.

  • €3400 total cash prize pool.

  • First prize €1,000, second prize €600, third prize €300 for placement on the leaderboard.

    • This is a game of skill, applying your knowledge by answering quizzes. Quizzes are posted weekly, where consistently answering these correctly and often will place you higher on the leaderboard.

    • When there is a draw in points, the leaderboard prioritises the number of correct answers. If there’s still a tie we use the total time taken submitting answers. The winners of the competition shall practice the questions multiple times and therefore position higher on the leaderboard.

    • Prizes are awarded based on leaderboard position, there is no split prize due to tie in points.

    • Winners will have one week to accept the prize before it will be awarded to the next highest-ranked participant on the leaderboard.

  • 10 x €100 weekly prizes (€1,000):

    • This is a game of chance, the winner will be chosen by a draw.

    • The winner must have attempted questions.

    • Winners will be drawn each Sunday for 10 weeks (starting from Sunday 20 February 2022 at 10:00 PM (GMT)). Winners will be published on social media and the Quitch and CPA Ireland websites on the following Tuesday. Winners will be contacted via their University/IT email address by CPA Ireland.

    • Only one prize will be awarded per person.

  • €500 educator prize:

    • Awarded to the top student’s educator.

  • Winners will be contacted via their University/IT email address.

  • Winners will be published on www.quitch.com/competition & www.cpaireland.ie/become-a-student/Why-Choose-CPA/quitch-competition on Thursday 28 April 2022.

  • By participating, students agree to the Quitch privacy policy.

  • The competition terms are governed by Victoria, Australia.
